Triple Nexus eLearning Course

As part of the Triple Nexus in WASH initiative, the e-learning course ‘Building WASH resilience conflict sensitivity and peace’ was launched in August 2024. The two-and-a-half-hour online training course, which is available on the WASH Systems Academy platform, is aimed at WASH practitioners. It provides a basic understanding of the nexus between humanitarian aid, development and peace in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector and shows how WASH resilience, sustainability and peace can be achieved through collaboration.

The content of the course is based on the Joint Operational Framework WASH Resilience, Conflict Sensitivity and Peacebuilding, which was also developed as part of the initiative and aims to increase resilience through better collaboration between actors within the Nexus.

In order to participate in the course, register in the WASH Systems Academy and select the "Building resilience" learning journey.

This course is an output of the “Triple Nexus in WASH Initiative” of the WASH Road Map, developed under the leadership of the German WASH Network together with IRC and German Toilet Organization, and supported by the Federal Government of Germany.
