Gender Equality. Toilets for all.

When we go to the toilet we are all the same! ... right? Unfortunately, that's not true. 3.5 billion people worldwide do not have access to safe toilets. Half of them are women and girls, and they are the most affected by lack of sanitation. For example, poor sanitation affects educational opportunities when menstruating students miss 4 - 5 days of school due to inadequate school toilets.

This infographic poster (German only) addresses the connection between toilets and gender equality in an age-appropriate way. The poster is designed to invite teachers nationwide to bring the issue to school.
