Climate change presents us with major challenges. Extreme weather events are increasing worldwide. 1.65 billion people suffer from the effects of flooding. When toilets or sewers flood, untreated wastewater enters the soil and groundwater. Half of the world's population will soon be suffering from
water shortages. Droughts can affect sanitation systems if they only function with sufficient water.

This toiletten-klimawandel-poster.pdf (in German) addresses the connection between toilets and the climate in an age-appropriate way. The poster is intended to invite teachers nationwide to bring the topic into schools.
