Seminar: Monitoring and Evaluation of WASH Projects
What is the best way to measure the success of a water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects? The two-day seminar conveys special requirements of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in the WASH area including an introduction to M&E basics. This includes an insight into digital and participatory WASH relevant tools as well as global monitoring in the field of WASH and national M&E structures. Foresighted and well planned, M&E forms the basis for a successful project.

- M&E adapted to the WASH sector
- Planning and reporting based on receipts
- Digital and participative M&E tools for WASH
- Global WASH M&E: SDGs and JMPs
- M&E along government structures
- Harmonization of M&E among partners
Objectives
After the seminar, the participants should be familiar with the specifics of M&E in the WASH sector and be able to apply the most important M&E methods for a sustainable project management in order to better monitor and secure the quality of their projects in the long term. Furthermore, they will understand WASH M&E in a country-specific and global context.

The target group for this seminar are employees of non-governmental organisations as well as other interested persons who carry out projects in the field of WASH.
